These trackers are a welcome replacement for the ones that come with the game. Those in the game consist of 2 counter wheels attached to a cardboard frontispiece, a design that al...view morelows the counter wheels to rotate freely - too freely, as any slight bump or nudge during game play causes the wheels to move unintentionally. The LITKO plastic design consists of a front and back piece that hold the wheels in place until you actively rotate them. These units are quite a bit smaller than the originals, but after a couple of game sessions our group soon came to prefer them over the game’s original trackers, regardless of size. I note that another reviewer took the developers to task because the XP wheel goes up to “only” 15. I offer the following advice: when you hit 15 XP on the counter wheel, pick up a pencil and write “15” onto the character sheet in the area marked “XP”. That’s what it’s there for! Then move the wheel to “0” and continue recording XP as usual. There is really no problem here.
A good replacement for a badly designed game piece. The more you play Gloomhavun, the more you’ll appreciate these trackers. view less
