Have a question?
Have figures with a cast-on base? Injection molded plastic? Is it a little wobbly? Add a LITKO Clear Miniature Base underneath as a simple solution to keep them steady. Just add it with a dab of glue. There is no finishing required. Your minis (and their paint jobs) will thank you for it!
The miniatures in this set are all from REAPER Miniatures, in their Savage Worlds and Chronoscope BONES figure ranges.
All BONES miniatures feature a molded-on base. We could have trimmed off the molded-on base at the bottom of the feet and glued the figure to the clear bases.
We wanted to show that the figures can look quite nice with a neutral base color. We then mounted them on the ideal size and shape clear base.
Depending on your game, there may be a specified size and shape, refer to your game rules to see what works for it. In this case we based the models on the smallest base sizes possible, sticking with 25mm-1inch round bases as much as possible. This is the most common base size for 25-28mm figure sizes.
Simply glue the finished figure to the clear base with LITKO Craftics #33 acrylic cement. This glue is great because it will adhere to most materials, and is ideal for acrylic. Don't use common hobby super glues because they will fog the surface of the clear acrylic.
