Our 1in hex bases come laser cut in 3mm, 1.5mm and 0.8mm plywood. They also come as flexible steel, heavy duty magnet and magnet base bottoms. Each comes in packs of 10, 25, 50 or 100. 1in is 25.4mm.

1in hex bases: common questions

Should I choose bases or base bottoms?

Plywood and acrylic are the bases your miniature stands on. Magnet and flexible steel are base bottoms: thin, peel-and-stick layers that go under a base so it holds to steel- or magnet-lined storage and trays. Many players order both in 1in.

Do you make other sizes?

Yes. See the related sizes below, or our miniature base sizes reference. For a size we don't stock, BaseMaker cuts any dimension you need.

Need a custom size or shape? Design it with LITKO BaseMaker, our online tool for custom bases.

Store them magnetized

Painted miniatures on magnet base bottoms held on a flexible steel liner inside a clear storage case The same storage case held upside down, the miniatures still stuck to the steel liner

Add a magnet base bottom and line any case with LITKO flexible steel sheet. Your minis stay put, even upside down.

Already storing on magnet sheet? Use flexible steel base bottoms instead: steel sticks to magnet with no polarity to match.

Great bases. about 17 cents CAD each including taxes when buying 100. I added magnets as well, as I am experimenting with magnetic whiteboard gaming viability. Save table space!
